    When the Templewas taken apart the constructors found that  some of the stones had been used during the time of the 26:th dynasty
  The Temple of Philae was founded  by Pharaoh Nektanebos I of the 30:th Dynasty arround
 370 Bc to worship goddes Isis
The Outer pylon vas erected by Pharaoh
Ptolemaios XII 100 Bc
but the temple was still used year 300.

It was broken down stone by stone and moved
to the near by Agilkia island to prevent it from drowning to the Nasser Lake.

There was a narrated sound and light show in the evening
